Task B
I decided to include my WGU portfolio on my class website because I have material that that I may want to use for the tasks. I chose Weebly because it is easy to use, has a great user interface and can also be used with students. I can assign students to create website as part of a project. Weebly has a WYSIWYG editor, which stands for What You See Is What You Get, and means you do not have to know any HTML in order to create the website. I included a link to my WGU Portfolio on the homepage by using google images to locate and save a WGU Logo. I then save the image, uploaded it to Weebly, and added a Colum in the table on my homepage. I linked the caption and image to the WGU section of my website. I created a WGU section page and included the WGU Logo to create a consistent look and feel. I used a table to create a menu for the subpages of my WGU portfolio section, including a picture for each section. I located the picture by using keyword search for abstract art and using the google tools to look for similar images, and images that were marked for free non-commercial use I created subpages for Multimedia, print and graphic instructional material per the task directions and used the same picture that I used for the menu to create consistency The Google images tools are very useful because you can search by color to help create a consistent theme throughout a webpage, and search for royalty free images. I created this document and created a menu and page for it to be posted.
